Hi folks – Welcome to the updated Buckleys Beer website. We look forward to providing you news and information about Buckleys events, activities and beers.   Keep in touch!  Brendan

When we began in 2001 there had been 302 previous attempts to establish a new brewery in Victoria. Buckleys beer was named after William Buckley, the famous escaped convict who lived with the Wathaurung Tribe in the Bellarine Peninsula of Port Phillip Bay from 1803 to 1835 (without a beer!).  His survival led to the ironic expression “You’ve got Buckley’s chance” and was one of the earliest examples of reconciliation in Australia.  Once you’ve tried our traditionally brewed, non-filtered, full-flavoured ales and lagers it will be . . .

                                      “Buckleys, or none!”

I am from the black Saturday remembrance car cruise which is held at the Healesville railway station in the 7 th Feb, next weekend.
I am wondering if you would be interested in donating some beer to give to the band who donate their time to play at the remembrance cruise. They have donated their time three years in a row and I would love to be able to give them each a local gift.
There are five members in the band.
It would be great to have you on board.
